This document is not yet in force because Bookesto has no customers and no deployed service. What is stated below is our intended position, published early so that it can be read before there is anything to agree to. It will be replaced by a reviewed and dated document before the first account is created.
This website sets no tracking cookies.
Analytics is Umami, self-hosted on our own infrastructure. It is cookieless: it records page views, referrers, approximate country, and screen size, and it does not set an identifier, does not follow you between sites, and does not send anything to a third party.
There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. A banner for a site that sets no non-essential cookies trains people to click through banners that do matter.
What reverses this
Adding any third-party script to this site — a chat widget, a challenge script, an advertising tag, an embedded video player — reverses the position above. A real consent gate ships before that script loads, not after, and the change is published on the changelog.
