Unofficial WhatsApp gateways get business numbers permanently banned. Bookesto connects only through the official API, and publishes what Meta charges instead of burying it in a plan.
The adapter is in the codebase and disabled. There is no verified business account and no approved template yet — the changelog will say when there is.
Why this matters more than any feature on this page
A large number of booking and CRM products connect WhatsApp through unofficial gateways because it is faster to build and cheaper to run. When Meta detects one, the business number is banned — not the vendor’s, yours. Bookesto uses the official Meta Cloud API through 360dialog, and there is no configuration, no testing mode, and no exception in which it does anything else.

Meta charges per delivered template message, and the rate varies by the recipient’s country by a factor of roughly ninety between the cheapest and most expensive markets. Nobody can absorb that into a flat seat price honestly. So Bookesto will pass it through: your plan will include an allowance, and anything above it will bill at Meta’s published rate plus 25%, monthly, on actuals. Meta’s rates are real and published today; our side of it is not — there is no billing system, no business account and no approved template.

Replies you send within 24 hours of a customer messaging you are free. That is Meta’s rule, not ours, and most conversation volume falls inside it. Bookesto will choose the delivery channel at send time rather than when the reminder is queued, specifically so that an open window gets used. Nothing sends today: the adapter is disabled and there is no business account behind it.
We will not sell WhatsApp message credits and we will not round up. You will be billed on delivered messages at Meta’s rate plus 25%, itemised.

- Can I keep my existing WhatsApp number?
- Yes, if it is not currently registered to the WhatsApp consumer app or the WhatsApp Business app. Moving it to the official Cloud API is a documented migration and we will walk you through it.
- Who owns the WhatsApp Business account?
- You do. It is registered to your business under your Meta business verification. If you leave, the number leaves with you.
- What happens if Meta changes its rates?
- Your invoice will follow Meta’s current published rate plus our stated 25%. We will not fix a rate in a plan and then quietly lose money or quietly profit on the difference. No invoice exists yet — this is the rule we are building to.
